For culture freaks, a trip to Bregenz is defintely a highlight with its Kulturhaus as well as during the Bregenzer Festival Plays or a trip to Schwarzenberg in the Bregenzerwald ( Kulturerbe ) is also recommended.

Traditional handicrafts are also on show at the Woodcutting Centre in Lechta valley or the Käserei in Bregenzerwald.

A trip to the Bavarian Royal Castles of Linderhof, Neuschwanstein and Hohenschwangau is also worth it.
